This semi-dry wine is made with Seyval Blanc, a French-American hybrid. This grape has been referred to as, ‘the east coast Chardonnay,’ but only because of its widespread popularity in this part of the world. As far as taste and style, it would be more likely to be compared to a Chablis or a Chenin Blanc.
