Bourbon Barrel-Aged Wine
We have purchased nine whiskey barrels to age our wine in. These barrels were recently emptied, so there’s still whiskey moisture in them. All nine barrels have been filled with our Blackberry and Red Zin for Stonehaus Winery’s Coal Creek. These charred bourbon barrels are just magic in the making.
We will age them about three months or so, checking them all along the way, and topping them off because the Angels like to take their share.
